The sun shone brightly down, its hot rays sinking into Ziel's brown and green fur. Such a young looking wolf lay there, his pup-like body sturing as the heat got too hot on that one side of him. Slowly his body moved over, his blue eyes blinking open as he realised he had moved out of his spot of sun and into some mud.
Rolling back into the sun before standing up on his feet, Ziel shook off some of the liquid dirt off of him. His eyes moving back down heavily. Sleep was ruff last night, a horrible dream had been keeping him up. Ziel's mane stood on edge when he thought about it again, his head bowing down slightly in fear, both his tail and ears went down as well.
It was a very rare sight to see Ziel fear something, let alone it make him go into a stance like this.
Remembering that he was not in his sleeping area and was in the middle of the packs land, Ziel lifted his head back up, his tail wagging slightly. What to do today...

Kali
The sun was over the tree tops and created patterns on the muddy ground below. The fog was surprisingly still there and was thick in the coldest and darkest parts of the territory. Birds sang from above as tiny woodland creatures darted and dashed across the soil. The day was always the safest time within this territory. Most snakes and crocks were still slumbering in their dark and cool homes.
Kali was trotting around in her territory. She had her skull up proudly with her tail high behind her. It never really lowered when she was pacing around. What else could she have shown to others when her mind is out somewhere else? The scenery merged into one as she didn't quite pay attention. Other things were on her mind. She could imagation her land was filled with different wolves and everything was going on perfectly. A pup would pass her by or she would brush shoulders with a warrior or guardian. It will happen one day. Kali promised herself.
The female entered the heart of the territory, the den site. She glanced over and found a yearling there in the sun. Silently Kali padded up towards him and nudged the male with her nose. "What's wrong?" her soft voice questioned him as she stood over him, concerned. Her tail lowered as she showed him a caring expression.

Anubis awoke as the morning sun beat down upon his head. He groaned in agitation as the sun refused to allow him to return to his sleep. With a sigh of resignation, he sat up from his position upon the fallen tree trunk. The brute groaned as he stretched out his large limbs.
He jumped down from his perch and yawned. Taking one last look around, the Alphess was no where to be seen. With a shrug, he set off. A small morning stroll to get the blood pumping. He started out at a leisurely pace, but worked his way up to a jog and then a full out run.
A few minutes passed by, when Anubis came on to a sight of a young brute and his Alphess. His brow raised, Anubis approached the male and Kali. "Good morning, Kali. Good morning, young brute. I am Anubis of the Ignate Pack. Might I ask who you are and your purpose for being here?" he asked. He said it with extreme curiousity.

A touch to his back and he yelped softly, his eyes jolting around until he turned to see the beautiful alpha standing before him. "Yes." He replied quickly to the female.
It was not short after that he heard a males voice and he lifted his head up a little higher. Turning a slight bit to the left, Ziel saw this male. In reply to his question he said, "I am Ziel, messanger of Ignate Pack."
His voice was proud and loud, a look in his eye showing his seriousness, though many thought he was much to young to have his powers fully in. That was the thing, his powers were that of having a forever youth, a problem in some cases but those factors could easily be run over.
Ziel chuckled, not meaning to sound rude if he did, "You're new here then?" He nodded, answering the question himself. With his introduction done, Ziel turned back to the alpha and he bowed slightly, "I'm sorry if I had worried you. Nothing is wrong."

Kali glanced back to see that Anubis had joined in. "Good morning Anubis." she nodded to him as she turned back to Ziel. He was jumpy so she believed that there was something on his mind. She let the two brute chat and get to know each other by name. Things were going smoothly, there was no fighting or any tension what-so-ever. But she was studying Ziel, searching for what could have set him off, her gaze even turned to their surroundings. There didn't seem to be anything there.
Her ears pushed forward, "Yes, he joined among our ranks. He wants to be a warrior." she smiled lightly. Her tail rose at having two of them in her sights. She will still show her status with the brutes. One ear flipped back slightly, "Whatever it is Ziel. You are safe now." Kali licked his forehead for comfort. She wanted to let him know that she was there for him and that he could tell her anything.
Her eyes lost focus after that and she pondered once more. Her ears twisted before resting comfortably as she stood there. The excitement of having the two brutes was really starting to ware off. She became spacey and seemed to always do things on her own now. As lucky as she was to have the both of them, the distance was still there. Kali snapped out of her daze slowly. "Well, there is no work today, boys. You're free to do as you please." she told them then turned to start walking away. Her pace was slow since she had no where to go. She just needed something to do.

Anubis nodded his head at Kali as she began to walk off. His deep purple eyes watched after her for a moment before he turned his gaze back to the brute before him.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Ziel," the brute began, "It would appear, we're now pack mates. Why were you not at the den?"
That question had nagged at him when he found out Ziel to be a pack mate. He had not slept at the den where the pack was. It was odd to him. Perhaps he just liked his space? Anubis didn't know, which was why he asked. Another thing was the brute's youthful appearance. He looked rather young, but he spoke as if older. Anubis would have to ask.

"Thank you, Kali." He spoke softly as the gentle alpha licked his head, his eyes resting themselves on the ground. He didn't really understand why he got nervous around he but he did, though the year old didn't mind. His brown ears perked up at the sound of her paws walking away and then at the males voice.
"Huh?" He asked, looking up back at the larger wolf before laughing, "Yes, it seems we are."
Then he sat himself down on his back legs and his eyes relaxed, "I was just relaxing out in the sun..." He muttered out. "I've lived here, in this pack, since my birth, but my parents both dissappeared along with my sister while my brother died after my death."
He didn't mind sharing this, though it was not what the male had asked of him, "The main reason I was not in the den was because I can't relax directly under the sun. The other reason is because I was about to go hunting after I woke. Seeing as you and I both are trying to be warriors, why don't we head out on a small hunt together?"

Kali paced through the fog and gazed around as if she was searching for something. Her paws padded down lightly and she hopped over the muddy places. Though she paused and gazed up a fallen tree that was lifted off the floor by another tree. Her ears pulled down as she lowered her bum to the floor. With one swift leap she was up ontop of it. Gracefully she padded to around the top. She was 10 feet off the ground and it gave her a wonderful view over some of her territory. She gazed down to see that if something paced by she would see it.
The alphess placed on front paw ontop of the other and let her tail hang down. She took a deep breath and relaxed. Shade covered over her dark fur and even a bit of a breeze swished everything around. Her eyes closed half way as she gazed over and watched Anubis and Ziel. A warm smile pulled at her muzzle. It was good to know that they could get along.

A broad smile appeared on his face, his pearly whites flashing in the sun. He stood from his seated position with his large tail wagging. "I would enjoy that immensely," he said, his purple eyes shining with delight.
Anubis was about to head off when a thought struck him. "Would you care to lead the way? As I am new, I don't know where I'm going," he stated. The brute's broad smile transformed to that of a sheepish grin. It was a bit embarrassing to have to admit that he did know his way around. But Anubis was big enough to admit it though.
The massive brute turned as if to leave, but remained stationary, his large purple eyes gazing back at Ziel. All the while, his tail continued to wag, even through his embarrasment.

The smaller of the two let out a soft chuckle as he heard the words of this male, "I get lost here myself from time to time, the fog can make it plenty tricky to remember where you are." He didn't mind saying that, it was a true statement, "You might have already heard this, but you shouldn't trust your eyes all to much out here."
He stood up slowly, moving through the patches of sun quickly. Ziel stood beside Anbuis before nodding his head forward and 'marching' off ahead, a grin on his face.
"Fish or bird?" He asked quickly, knowing his own body was built better for fishing than bird hunting but not knowing how this brutes was.
Feeling the ground ahead of him quickly before turning to the left, Ziel felt a slight bit of mud building up under his paws. "Be careful where you step. We wouldn't want to get stuck."

"Hmm, fish. I ate crocodile last night and I'm still a bit full. But if you'd prefer bird, I'm fine with that," Anubis said, his features thoughtful. As Ziel began to trot of, the massive brute followed. The view of the two brutes could have been hysterical to watch. Anubis, the huge brute that he was, following Ziel, a much smaller and younger wolf.
Anubis sighed. Well, at least no one else was around to see. He was embarrassed enough as it was having to ask Ziel to lead. He was older and bigger, he should be leading!! But, since he had no clue where he was going, Anubis relinquished command. The tips of his ears drooped and he pouted.

Pausing for a moment to think, Ziel nodded at the larger wolves statement, "Fish is my prefered meal." As he spoke, his voice began to soften. It went down from an adult tone to something more child-like, Ziel letting his guard down slightly.
"Anbuis...?" He asked as he turned back slightly to look at the older brute. "There are snakes around there parts that have a taste for wolf pups and have a thing for attacking other wolves. I sure they wont go after you but could you watch my back- just in case?"
It wasn't his true question but it would have to do. He didn't trust this brute that much to ask him the true nature of his question. Brushing it off, Ziel stopped in his tracks. Half to listen and smell, the other to see if he'd get an answer from his 'partner in crime'. He could ask multiple questions and act eger to know more but then the hunt would be ruined, the prey knowing they were there.

The rather large brute gave out a chuckle, the sound deep and rumbling in his throat. His eyes shined merrily at the pup-like brute. "Certainly. It would be an honor," he said in his deep voice.
His large paws tredded as lightly as was possible across the softy, mushy ground. He had a feeling that Ziel hadn't asked his true question, but he let it slide. If Ziel wanted to know something, he could ask. If not, he wouldn't know.
The brute followed Ziel as they wandered through the swamp. He kept his eyes peeled for any sign of movement in the murky water below.

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" He barked softly, stopping in the middle of the shallow area. His grin was large on his muzzle, every muscle in his body twisting, waiting for the fish to ripple the water. His soft blue eyes moved from their horozontal gaze to an almost glare at a small baby fish at his paw, barely big enough for a pup to snack on. He chuckled before moving away from it.
"How are you enjoying thing thus far in our lovely pack? You seem to move around easier than a newbie.." His words seemed to flow out of him without his brain even noticing they had come out, but they were already out and about, no way to bring them back.
Ziel brought his nuzzle into a big of dark water, pulling up a smaller sized fish which lay loose between his large teeth. "Uff doo foo tink?" He muffed through the fish, trying not to talk too much with the prey in his grasp.
((ooc;; Seeing as there was a season change- should we apply that to this roleplay?))
