Introducing...
Name: Fauna
Name Meaning: Something having to do with animals. Pff, like I know?
Aliases: Many...She enjoys herself by giving a different name everywhere she goes. Good thing she rarely needs to remember them.
Age: Three and a bit
Gender: Female
Species: Messenger wolf. Whootwhoot.
Deity: Forseti
Always Quick To Follow
Appearance: Fauna's coat is a very light, sky blue, easily mistaken for white in the right light. There are two exceedingly strange markings on her back (though maybe not that strange, for a messanger wolf). They look like dull gray angel wings in that very same right light that makes her look white. (I'll get a picture in here soon, folks. Use your imagination for now.) These extend from her shoulderblades down to her flanks. Her ears and tailtip are the same pearly gray color. Her fur is of a medium length, exactly long enough to survive a Scandinavian winter - with much grumbling involved. Fauna's eyelashes are slightly longer than usual (...to blink out the snow. Yeah, that's it.), giving her an innocent Who, me? look. Her eyes are a light brown.
Height: 2' 6"
Weight: 88 lbs
Length: 5 feet. 6 and-a-half if you count the tail.
Those Boys Are Too Refined
Mate: Nope!
Friends: Irrelevant
Enemies: Also irrrelevant
Parents: Artem (M) x Lansa (F)
Siblings: One brother. But he's unimportant and Malt can't be bothered to think of a name for him.
Offspring: Nopeagain!
Won't Matter Tomorrow
Personality: For Fauna, most decisions are made on a whim. That is not to say that she's absent-minded or has a short attention span, but she finds life to be more exciting that way. She left her birth pack on - you guessed it! - a whim, and sometimes regrets that. But no pain, no gain!
However, she is not a stupid wolf. She does, in fact, think before she leaps, however briefly. She always dares herself to be better, to do more - complacency is just a phase. She wishes other wolves had the same outlook, and did not settle for the same monotony, day in and out.
Being a messenger for Forseti, Fauna knows immediately when another wolf is lying. It gives her a sense of what that wolf is like, and whether or not it can be trusted.
History:Fauna was born into a small pack - just her parents, her father's brother, and her own brother. Her father was a messenger to one of those God-beings, and her mother was one of them Immortal Mothers. They expected one of their pups to be a Messenger, but certainly didn't expect it to be the female. Her mother was pleased, ('Maybe the Gods aren't so sexist, after all!') and her father didn't care either way, 'cause either way there was a pup to train.
She was trained normally to be a Messanger of Forseti, the god of justice. It went smoothly, no fatalities involved. It took just over a year, after which she returned to her pack. Yet, she began to feel restless, and felt the need to leave. She wanted to explore the world, she said. Or, at least, the northern icy part.
For just shy of a year after that, she, well, explored. She ran into a few packs along the way, stayed with them for a bit, then continued on. Many of these were normal wolf packs, and she would explain away her strange markings as a birth defect or some other nonsense. Fauna also rarely introduced herself as such, even to other messenger wolves. Some may call it ironic that a messenger to Forseti would lie to other wolves. But she doesn't see it as a negative thing - they are innocent white lies, without malicious intent.
By now, the life of a loner has worn on her. She wishes to join a pack now, and settle herself down. While she has considered returning to her parents' pack, the idea was never very appealing. After all, wolves are pack animals. Being alone is for emos and weenies.
Oh To Be In It Tonight...
Pack:None - she's looking!
Rank: Are you dense?
