♠ Messengers are usually male. Female Messengers are rare but they can happen.
♠ There are always multiple Messengers to a particular Deity. Standard minimum is two.
♠ Messengers have 1-2 powers related to the Deity they serve, anything more than that is extremely rare and often unstable. The powers are generally a minor (defensive) power and a major (offensive) power. Powers are always related to the Deity. ex- A Messenger to Thor would not have shape shifting abilities, but a Messenger to Loki would.
♠ Messengers tend to live longer than normal wolves, by quite a bit of time.
♠ Twins aren't particularly common. Messenger births are usually single births.
♠ All Messengers have a physical manifestation of their status. This can be markings, colorings, or ornamentation. Messengers in Training display simpler manifestations than Full Messengers. ex- Tal has red on his scruff but Sean has the full red, orange, and yellow.
♠ If two Messengers have a pup, there is a chance their pup could serve the Mother's Deity. It is just much more likely to take after the Father. This is not a concrete rule, as we are talking about magic.
♠ A pup is not a Full Messenger until their powers have awoken. They are in training until then and usually do not show the physical manifestation of their powers until their powers awaken. (ex. Sean is a full Messenger, so has the full colors on his scruff. Tal is still in training, so only has red.)
