Kalypso
Kalypso soared through the sky, her multi-colored wings stretched out wide. Her deep, sapphire blue eyes gazed down below to the Ocate lands. She was memorizing them and becoming familiar with her new pack. Knowing the land might prove useful in the future.
The fae swooped closer to a small clearing and landed. Kalypso tucked her majestic wings close to her body. With a small shake, she righted her pelt. It was a beautiful clearing, one full of wonderful vegetation. The fae took a look around, not a soul in sight. After her short flight, she decided to just sit and relax for a few minutes before heading back to the den.
Kalypso sat back on her haunches, her black, blue and grey tail curling up around her forepaws. Her wings flexed for a moment before returning to her sides. The fae contented herself with simply looking around the small area before her trek back to the den.

Xavier
Xavier's large ears perked up, as he heard a strange blast of wind from overhead. His fur became ruffled, and he stared in unison at the sight overhead. From what he could see, a beautiful black, multi colored she-wolf was soaring over head. He stared in awe at her shear beauty, and he couldn't help but notice how magnificent her wings were. His eyes widened, he watched her fly onward, and then descend somewhere off in the distance.
The large male wolf grinned, giving his red, yellow, and orange pelt a hard shake. He wanted to find out more about this female, as she had caught his attention, and had held it. Something anyone was rarely able to do. Still, Xavier didn't want to frighten her, for he didn't want her to think he was some kind of barbaric beast. Xavier stared off into the distance for a moment, and then trotted forward, not even attempting to stay quiet, for he wanted her to know he was here.
Xavier kept a smile on his muzzle, and his eyes shone brightly, as he wanted to come off as a friendly wolf, despite his large size. His tail wagged slightly, as he began to wonder what this beautiful female would think of him.

Kalypso's ears flicked to the side as she heard the foot steps of another come up behind her. She turned her deep sapphire eyes, glancing at the brute. Her eyes widened.
The brute's pelt rivaled even the flame itself. It was mixed with the most vibrant of reds, oranges, and yellows. It caught her attention immediately. The fae's gaze looked the brute up and down. He looked brilliant. As he neared, Kalypso was able to make out the smaller details, such as his deep, emerald eyes. They put the actual jewel to shame. All in all, the brute was quite handsome.
The fae turned her body to face him, her head tilted in curiousity. Behind her, Kalypso's multicolored wings fluttered as approached. She bowed her head in respect when he was within hearing range. "Good afternoon, stranger," she said in greeting. Lifting her maw higher, she inhaled as the wind brought his scent to her sensitive nose. The scent itself was very masculine, mixed with the scents of sweet fruit. It was pleasant, but unknown.

As Xavier spotted the female wolf, his grin widened as she turned around and spotted him. She was even more beautiful up close. Returning the females respectful gesture, he moved a bit closer, but not too close, as he didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable. His ears twitching slightly, he stared in awe at her beauty. "May I have your name? He asked politely, his voice softened. I am Xavier, a messenger of the Drei Pack."
Happily, he glanced up at the sky, letting the cool breeze ruffle his fur once more. He was relieved that this beautiful female wolf wasn't intimidated by him, as others often were. She semt quite friendly, and Xavier didn't want to ruin things. After a moment, Xavier turned his attention back to the magnificent female before him, his emerald eyes meeting her sapphire gaze. Gazing ahead, Xavier sat on his haunches, in a more comfortable position.
He dearly wanted to tell her how beautiful she was, but he felt that he would be rushing things, and it would be to much to soon. Instead he simply nodded, his eyes shining happily.

Kalypso offered Xavier a friendly smile. "I am Kalypso of the Ocate Pack. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Xavier," she greeted. Her blue eyes continued to gaze at the large brute before her. He was unbelievably large, compared to her! The fae wasn't intimidated, though. Xavier seemed friendly and sweet. She saw no reason to fear him.
She cocked her head to the side, watching him curiously. What was a Drei pack member doing on Ocate land? Kalypso wasn't too concerned with the question, but it was still important. Her tail swished side to side in, somewhat, restrained happiness. At least she had someone to keep her company.
As he deep blue eyes gazed at Xavier, she couldn't help but think, "He's very handsome." His scent was bad either. It seemed to call to her, beckoning her to join his side. Kalypso, course, restrained the urge. She didn't want him to think her odd.

Slyly grinning, Xavier's tail thrashed about wildly. This female, Kalypso, he know knew, didn't seem bothered by him at all! Instead it semt as if she enjoyed his company. This made the large male overjoyed, as it semt as though he wasn't just being judged for his large size. He was relieved that Kalypso could see through this, as he noticed how much larger he was than her. Xavier hated being judged before anyone ever got to know him. He was really just a good hearted fellow on the inside, and he wished everyone could see that.
"Your pleasure? Xavier asked, winking at Kalypso. I must tell you that it is a privilege, to be in your company Kalypso." Xavier closed his eyes for a few moments, his shoulders relaxing completely. He began to recall the reason he had even set out this direction, for now he was informed that he was on Ocate territory. He had been within his own pack lands, relaxing, but then a strange scent caught his attention. Determined to find it, Xavier's snout led him past his pack lands, and onto this one.
Xavier cocked his head to one side, still gazing at Kalypso. What was that weird scent? He wondered. It had seemed to stop as soon as he reached the Ocate Pack lands. Shrugging, he let out a content sigh, for the scent that had led him here, had caused him to meet Kalypso. Xavier was rather happy that he had followed the strange scent.

Kalypso let out a chuckle at Xavier's wink. This brute was interesting. Fun, even. Her smile widened, showing the brute her pearly whites. On her back, her wings flexed while her tail swayed gently from side to side. Xavier was very entertaining!
The fae noticed a slight change in his posture. Perhaps, relief? Could he be relieved with the fact that she was not frightened nor intimidated by him? She certainly hoped so. Kalypso didn't want others to feel ashamed of themselves, especially when it was something they could not control.
The fae stood, and padded over to the brute. She stopped a foot away from Xavier and returned to her seated position. Her tail wrapped around her forepaws as she gazed up at the large brute. Due to his size, Kalypso was forced to look up to the brute. Not that she minded. To prove this, she gave Xavier another brilliant smile. "I must thank you for your lovely compliment, Xavier. And, yes, I do find it a pleasure to be in your company. I was becoming rather lonesome."

As Kalypso padded forward, Xavier became ecstatic, his grin quickly widening. He was surprised that she had drawn so close, a mere foot away! She must really trust me. Xavier thought happily. In fact, Kalypso didn't seem bothered by his large size at all. She was grinning up at him, so maybe his large size appealed to her? Or maybe his personality appealed to her? He wasn't sure, but he liked the fact that Kalypso semt to accept him for who he was.
"I'm glad that you liked the compliment, for it is a privilege, but a wolf such as yourself must get treated to compliments such as these all the time, no? Xavier tilted his head slightly in a playful manner, his eyes glued on Kalypso. Surely a beautiful wolf such as herself, would be used to getting compliments. The large male didn't see why not. "As for being lonely, I can't see how any wolf could stand not being in your presence, for so long. Your pack mates must not realize what they're missing out on."

Kalypso let out a laugh. The brute before her was too sweet. And she told him so. "You're too sweet, Xavier, but, no. I'm not showered with such lovely compliments as often as you might think," she said, her smile wide.
"I do appreciate your kindness, dear brute. Unfortunately, I am not close with my pack mates as of yet. We have only spent a small amount of time together," she said her smile growing warm.
The brute before her was kind and sweet. She had not experienced such kindness in a long time. In truth, she enjoyed his company. Very much so. In fact, she found herself wishing that he had joined the Ocate pack instead of the Drei. They'd have been fast friends the moment he had joined. Too bad.
"So, Xavier, what is a handsome Drei wolf like you doing here?" she asked, honestly curious.

"You're not? Xavier asked, his eyes wide. That's hard to believe, but I guess if your new to your pack, you're not that familiar with everyone." Letting out a chuckle of his own, Xavier was over joyed that Kalypso semt to be having a good time. He was glad when he could make others happy, and he was especially ecstatic when he made Kalypso happy. She semt like such a happy wolf, just like him, and she was very kind too. He was enjoying his time with her immensely.
So she wants to know what i'm doing here? I might as well tell her. Xavier shifted his position slightly once again, before explaining to Kalypso, why he had been on her packs territory. "Okay, i'll tell you what happened. Xavier told her. I had been on my packs territory, just doing the usual, when I caught a whiff of a strange scent. It was like nothing I had ever smelled before, and so I sought it out, because danger lies in the unknown." The large male paused for a moment, to clear his head, before continuing.
"And so I followed it, all the way onto your pack's territory. I know I shouldn't of come all the way out here, but I wanted to find out what the scent was. Oddly enough, the scent disappeared as soon as I seemed to reach this territory."

"Hmm, that's odd," she commented, but she shrugged it off. "So, Xavier, tell me about youself. You seem nice and friendly. What are your hobbies?" she asked. To say the least, Kalyso was curious about the brute. He made her laugh so easily. That wasn't something she did too often.
He intrigued her. His bright pelt continued to catch her attention, as well. It was so bright and matched his personality exactly. Xavier was a bright and happy wolf, as if his goal in life was to make others happy. If it was, he achieved it wonderfully. The brute caught her attention, more so than other males.

Hobbies? Hmm... Xavier thought for a moment. There were many things that he liked to do, but he didn't want to bore her, so he told her the basics. "Well, I like to umm... explore, if that's considered a hobby. And I also like to watch the sunset, as I enjoy how the sky becomes different shades of orange and yellow. And I like to eat... if that isn't obvious." Xavier's tail thumped against the ground happiliy, as he continued watching Kalypso, and all her beauty.
"So, how about you Kalypso? What are your hobbies, and what do you like to do? As Xavier asked this, he couldn't help but grin. He rarely ever talked to wolves from other packs, but he had to make an exception for Kalypso. She semt to enjoy his company, and he didn't want their conversation to end so soon.

Kalypso smiled broadly at Xavier's hobbies. They were much like her own. "Well, like yourself, I enjoy exploring. That was what I was doing when you found me. I also like to spend time with my packmates. Playing, wrestling in particular," Kalypso said, listing off her favorites. Her sapphire eyes glazed over in memory of her old pack. They had played all the time, spent time together all the time.
Those were things she hoped she could continue with her new pack. Kalypso's eyes returned to focus. The fae gazed up at Xavier, her tail swaying back and forth erratically, much like the brute's. She couldn't believe how much fun she was having. They had just met, but they were conversing as if they had known each other for years. This brute definitely intrigued her.

As Xavier listened to Kalypso, he realized that they both semt to have alot in common. Nodding, he laughed. "I remember the day's when my pack used to have fun like that. We'd play games and such, and it was a lot of fun.Xavier's ears twitched slightly as he paused. Things change though." Before the fire, his pack was so happy and strong. It bothered him when he thought about it. Many lives had been lost that day, including his mother and father's.
Trying to hide his brief sorrowful memory, he grinned toothily at Kalypso. "Your hobbies sound alot like mine." As he said this, he couldn't help but chuckle. Who knew that by following some random scent, he'd find a beautiful she-wolf that shared the same hobbies as him? What ever the odds, Xavier felt like the luckiest wolf in the world at the moment.

Kalypso huckled along with the brute. She noticed, however, the slight change of attitude. It was only slight, but she coud tell easily. The fae tilted her head to him and asked, "What's wrong, Xavier? Have I said or done something to upset you?"
She hoped not. Kalypso placed her smaller paw atop of his larger one. A comforting gesture. Her blue eyes held a deep concern for the brute. In such a short amount of time, Kalypso had become rather fond of the brute before her. To have hurt him with her words, would have upset her. She found that, she enjoyed this wolf so much that she didn't wish for his pain.
